Hey guys, so after using a semi-decent pc for gaming for the past 3/4 years I have decided to build a new gaming, I have a budget of between £700 and £1000 and will obviously be able to upgrade it in the future, but for now I would like a gaming pc where I can run games like BF4 etc at an enjoyable setting. I am fairly new to building computers, so if anyone could help me out in anyway it would be much appreciated, cheers!
Any more information? Desired form factor? other game considerations? Do you need an OS or peripherals included?
Desired form factor not much of a preference, for other games, yes just an all round good gaming pc, tend to play a lot of rpg games etc, and I will need OS and a keyboard, already have a monitor and a mouse ready
mATX Intel i5 + R9 290:

Includes and SSD. There's £100 remaining for your choice of keyboard. It would be advisable to spend £25 or more on an aftermarket CPU heatsink before you do any overclocking.
Competitive AMD ATX build:

Both quite similar. Both have SSDs. Both have an OS included in the price list.
You could save money dropping the SSD, or choosing a different case. You might consider the GTX 780 as an alternate GPU.
You can play BF4 on ultra textures with a build that costs £400. But if you're looking to spend a large amount and have guaranteed satisfactory performance in any game, you will be happy with these configurations.

Decent PC, can swap out memory for more or a different case if you want. SSD for boot and most played games hard drive for mass storage.
Change the motherboard for this one:

The EVO has a better power phase delivery for the power hungry octa-cores. 6+2 as opposed to 4+2 on the normal variant of the '97. It's only £4 more. Nice build
Why using the 8320 in the amd build over the 8350 if you dont mind me asking? got a friend suggesting that i should be getting the 8350?
The 8320 and the 8350 are exactly the same. The 8320 ships with a lower clock speed, and it is a little less efficient. Overclock it to the same speed (or higher) than the 8350 and you've got yourself the same chip and saved some money. You can buy the 8350, if you wish. I wanted to leave £100 for a keyboard of your choice. There are some very good mechanical keyboards for £100 or less.
