I need a power supply to finish off the rig, here are the specs
- AMD FX 8350 processor
- Nvidia GTX 670 GPU
- Asus Sabertooth 990 FX motherboard
- 2 terrabytes of hard drive
- I'm going to have anywhere from 8-16gb of ram
- NXT phantom case
This will be my first custom computer, all imput, on any topic is appreciated.
If you're overclocking get at least 600w. If not, you can get away with a 500w. Single (12V) rail designs are typically better, and in this range, 80+ cert PSU's are a must. Reputable manufactuers are Seasonic, Silverstone, Corsair, XFX, Cooler Master, Antec.
I'd go for this Seasonic 550w, as it's 80+ Gold cert, comes 5 year warranty, and is an overall beast
