Hello everyone! The family PC just died and I need to build another one. This would be my second build and I'm asking for your input because I'm not very knowledgeable of the more lower end stuff. So I want to use an AMD APU with relatively fast memory (I'm thinking 1866 MHz). That way, my little brother could play a bit of games (nothing too intensive, probably mostly Minecraft, he is not quite converted to the PC Master race yet) and mother won't have to pay too too much for her casual web browsing.
- Budget. $400
- Where do you live (what country), and what currency do you use? Canada, CAD
- What will you be using your future computer for? Gaming? Rendering? Mix of both? Or is this a home media PC? Web browsing mostly, and a little bit of gaming for little brother.
- I would like to have a Micro ATX solution, but if you come with a really good ATX solution, I will consider it.
Anyway, here's a list of parts I quickly put together: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/quaz77/saved/2U1i (I'm not really fan of the case with the integrated PSU, I don't trust it for some reason).
Thanks in advance for your help!
