You included the wrong link! ;)
Buy x2 sticks of ram insted of one stick you will allso need a psu with more power 600w+ and a litte more expensive 990FX motherboard will fit your build better
Like a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 if you ever feel the need to overclock
The only thing i would change is the PSU, you could pick up another 7870 down the road a little bit just cause you found one cheap...power=expansion...i find it odd that in all of the build advice requests i've read neither the OP nor any of the posters ask/say what resolution the final build will be expected to display? expected playable resolution should be asked right before the proposed budget...
there's a problem, i already bought the mobo and the cpu so i'm kinda stuck with it
neither questions have been asked...hmm...OP didnt ask what would work best just that he was building this machine...i think i transposed reading other posts into my response for this one...on the 2 4gb DIMMS vs 1 8gb the actual performance you will see is neglible at best...one DIMM leaves slots open for later...it may bench better or if rendering be faster...otherwise you will never know...curious tho, what resolution will you be display at?
600w--available amperage is also key, number of +12v rails is open for discussion as always but amps are very important
I will be playing at 1080p if that helps i'm not sure the exact number because I don't have a monitor yet.
