I did the usual build it outside the box but when it came to boot it up, it decided to spin the fans for 0.5 sec on both the PSU and CPU fan and then stop and start again...
I used the paperclip method and made sure that the PSU was working.. Also the GPU was running just fine.
I'm looking online now - see if your manual has something on a cmos jumper
I don't think that board has a switch... confirm this before you do anything, but there will likely be a couple of contacts on the board (possibly near the battery) that you'll short with a piece of wire or a screwdriver or something... this will reset the cmos.
I have reseated the ram (2x4gb) in 1 slot, the other slot, both switched, every combination possible.
I don't have a haswell CPU to test with :/
I think a friend of mine managed to boot into win 7 pro earlier today recalling... he shut it down and I have only had time to turn it on for myself after installing an aftermarket heatsink... (Hyper 212 evo) I could not have broken the board by installing the heatsink -.-
