P.S. im fine with my procesor and Graphics card for now but Im trying to make my computer silent now as well as overclock my fx6300. The parts i chose arent final and im on a budget so dont want to spend too much. All suggestions will be considered. Thanks
since your going for a silent build then grab the most badass cooler you can (h110?) and throw out the fans that come with it and buy a butt ton of noctuans. done. If you want it any more silent I suggest you go for a full custom water cooling loop with a silent series power supply and water cool that too.
The H110 is not by any means a badass cooler. Sure, it works pretty well, but CLCs just aren`t worth the money. Something like a Noctua NH-D14 or Megahalem would be much better for the money. Hell, you could even run those completely passive, with no fans, and have total silence.
What is your budget?
Could he do full water with that budget? I don't know water cooling prices.
He could do a custom loop, but on, no offense, low-end hardware, it is kind of pointless.
well not really the cpu block would be carried forward. the sink for the psu would be carried forward(if it was used) the tubing could prolly be reused the pump res and rads all reusable. esspicially if he's overclocking the snot out of a shit cpu like any amd product.
Even at that price, about $400, he can get better performance from a high-end air cooler with fantastic fans, like Noctuas.
While he can get a custom loop for that price, to get a nice loop, that is silent, you have to spend a bit more.
Im replacing the h60 fans with Noctua fans....Did you check my pcpartpicker link.
Im not extreme overclocking and i believe the noctua fans i will install as well as the fractal case will be more than adequate for keeping my build silent.
I saw enermax fans but ok
There even quieter but not as much air...I was planning to use those for the top of the fractal design case.
