I have ryzen build x370 gaming pro carbon moving to x470 and x570 .

Wow that’s a big case!

If you want to use the motherboard SATA connectors, they do make longer SATA cables.

Likewise, if you want to add a LOT of drives, I recommend using a SAS HBA (host bus adapter), 4, 8, 12 or 16 channel, and a fan-out cable (very long lengths available). I’m not a fan of dedicated raid cards since Linux offers many more modern alternatives to hardware raid.

3-meter fan-out https://www.amazon.com/10Gtek-Internal-SFF-8087-Fan-Out-1-Meter/dp/B01L8ATJB6/ref=sr_1_fkmr2_1

I like how tall it was the problem no one told me the problems of the cable I coult not find long cable as many say sata cable dont go that long as I moslty use window os on ,linux os,game storage drive,
as i rather have nas for anything to storage back up.

I dont like many builders who did talk supower towers who have tall multi rooms each hardware dont talk how they configure and what cables and hardware.
