Build Help (Come one, come all, make your suggestions)

Hello all. Hope you guys are having a good day.

This is a build I am doing for myself. Budget I guess is within 700 but a good amount of it is buying certain peripherals. So I guess 550 or 500

My Build

And a few questions:
For anybody who has the keyboard I listed, may I ask how you guys like it? (Cooler Master Devastator Combo)

If you are going to ask peripherals, well I know it is blasphemous and not the best thing, I am buying a TV as a monitor as I am living in a small (emphasis on small) apartment. I know TVs are not great monitors, I am just working with what I have.

In advance, Thank You

Have you already bought the TV? If not, what size/model did you have in mind?
I'm brainstorming suggestions right now.

Well no, I was looking around. the one thing I want specifically is a VGA input as part of the IO of the TV. I have an old laptop that has only a VGA port that I want to use. I saw Walmart was having good prices on some. Oh and size I guess 32 inch with 1080 display. if possible.

For the TV, did you want it around 30 inches or mid 20s?

Also for the keyboard, here is an OEM version:

32 inches and what is the difference in the OEM? is it just the price?

OEM should just be the keyboard and mouse in the box. At least that is my experience.
Is the TV part of the $700 limit?

oh ok cool thanks.

yeah it is

Forgot to ask. What is the main purpose of this PC?
You don't need to answer all these questions as a heads up.

Using it for gaming?
If so, what games do you play the most?

Editing/CAD or other software?

Do you need Headphones/Headset too?

How long do you intend to keep this PC as your main machine?

These questions help give people a better idea of what you want/need.
Thank you.

Oh mainly for gaming and school work. Computer Science student, trying to learn new languages, So I guess software side is IDEs. I have headphones, I was just curious of getting an AMP, the one that Sir Logan likes from the videos. I forgot the name though. As my main machine, I do not know. Really, it is just that I want to build one, because I want to know the in and outs and the feeling of building it. Weird I know. The games I play. Well, I am just playing whaterver I like, recently been playing Rocket League. I do not mind answering, I find the people more knowledgeable than me, so I have the utmost respect for the people.

Have you considered buying used components locally?
I know it is a risk but buying a few gens old would get you a performance increase.
What kind of games are you playing, moba, indies, AAA?

Reminds me of this: https://teksyndicate.com/videos/build-ebay-gaming-rig-500-linux-win-pc

you might be surprised what deals you can find, also dont forget used e5 2670s are going for $60, so if you came across a x79 board on clearance you might get away cheaper than the fm2+

How old though? Still new at understanding the generations of CPU. I chose the 880k because its age since (I hope I am using it right) it is a rebranding of the 860k but with a bit higher speed. Recent games i have been playing is the Arkham series and Rocket League. If you want to see my steam library, just say the word. The used parts I am open to, but not HDD or Power supplies. I was actually hoping to find like a junk case, basically make this into a sleeper PC, just that it is a crummy one, but still. I guess I could buy a used CPU cooler.

agreed lol
Games like arkaham will need more power, dont know if you could get away with integrated graphics.
just saw gpu

Right needed a good workhorse for games, I was caught between AMD r7 300 series and this as I believe they are based on budget builds. I was wondering on getting away with 860k, I am just worried about the speed, granted its already blazing fast in my terms.

What is your future upgrade potential?
would you like to reuse most stuff or start from scratch?
I thinking building with the future in mind as well would be money better spent and I don't see any potential in fm2+ but then again pleny of people game on them.
I am putting something together right now.

Uhh upgrading this?... not really... sounds weird but I just want to build one and I chose a budget orientated build due to my situation. reusing stuff, I was thinking of reusing the case. I had some fears of used parts because I feel that once i get it, it will die within a few months so I take the motto of "buy new cause you are less screwed"

gotcha, but I mean building within you budget now, with an eye toward upgrading later, gimme a minute still putting a pc partpicker together.

It would almost be better to buy an intel xeon/i3/i5 or 8320/8350 and porbably a GTX 570 used, waiting until you can get a better GPU later on. It will without a doubt be worth it to have the future proofing the build will provide
