Yeah, i thought about getting vega 64 but price and availability are an issue, it costs 600 bucks more than the 1080 (in my country), it’s also out of stock currently.
In that case, perhaps going amd is not worth it.
@wendell any feedback regarding vega 64 cards? After research i think it might be worth the money and i really wanna get it, but i still feel like i’d be paying more for less performance (on the windows vm, that is). Quite a bit more. Do you think that can change over time with software updates? The power consumption/temperature on vega is also a major concern (i live in very, very hot weather).
Vega 56 is the value proposition at 399. I doubt things will improve much w/software
