Build for HexOS

Hello, I have a Ryzen 3 4100, MSI B450m Pro vdh max, thermaltake smart 500w psu, and a rx 580, with 3 Ironwolf 6tb HDD.
I am planing to build it to use HexOS and am looking at memory for it and am curious if going with a lot would be good as in the future I do want to do more VM’s or upgrade the gpu for better AI.
I do know that it may be slower for AI but I am not looking for speed on that front.

HexOS/TrueNAS loves RAM. If you have the budget, max out the capacity of your MB+CPU.

Without any budgetary constraints, hardware compatibility is the only reason not to always have more ram.
