Build for a friend - AMD

Hello guys, I'm looking at building a PC for my friend, the build I've come up with is £329.70.  He has a laptop and wants to start playing strategy games and some shooters so I know the budget is limited.  Just wondering if anyone has any better ideas for the budget.

I know its not exactly performance but I think for the price its going to be good.  I've used the case before and was happy with it especially for the price.  What do you guys think?

Why do you need a blue ray drive in a budget build like this?

He wants one as its going to be hooked up to his HDTV.

I see. I think you should try to get a 7770 if you can push it, but other than that I have no issues.

I see no problem with this build. Not sure if you are wanting to OC the graphics card, if so you may want to find another as that one may be voltage locked.

Yeah I have an idea, wait for the AMD announcement about the new amd cards in about 3 weeks in hawaii, they should be about twice as good if moores law holds true. Also I would recommend trying for 1-2TB HDD if the prices are not much higher like they are here as that is not much space.

I'll get him to wait for the announcement I think, can probably bag a bargain on outgoing parts too.  I'll ask about the HDD too.
