Build Based on Logan's $350

Note that there is a monitor factored in because all I have is an old fat one that isn't flat screen.  Any constructive input will be appreciated.  If you want to know a reason I picked a certain part ask and I shall explain.

I would wonder why your getting a full tower, but then I saw the price. nice find. if you want to bring the price down, get an asus 23". then maybe get a headset... up to you

Why are you even asking when all you really did was add a monitor.

Anyway you will not be able to game on that resolution with any real games so I advise you get a acheaper monitor an AMD phenom ii 965 and a decent independant gpu and then you can either use a tv or wait to get a better monitor and you can then run dual monitors when you get another.

Why wouldn't I be able to game in 1920 x 1080?  That seems to be a pretty standard resolution.

screen res is the biggest performance factor in games. anyway, you can run a game at 720p on a 1080p monitor.

personaly, i would get a cheaper 21.5" asus monitor. and for the price you wont be able to get better performance out of a dedicated card + cpu. so ignore the other comment.

be aware, that the a10 can only xfire with certain dedicated gpu's though.

also, why did you even post this?

Going with a 23" Asus with basically identical technical specs besides size saves $38.49 bringing the price down to $544.92.  For now I'm good with my cheapo mic that I just use to talk, I have surround sound in my room so I'll probably hook the PC to that.

Thank you for the info. I'm trying to keep the monitor large enough so that I can see it easily from roughly 5ft away for movies as this will be replacing the old tube tv on my dresser that I watch DVDs on.  I posted to gain input, I haven't built a PC before and just wanted some input on everything together including the monitor and case.
