I've built a few PC's from your guys videos for gaming but now I'm wanting to build a home media PC and I have no clue where to start. What are your suggestions and what all do I need?
I would love if they did a video about that. I've been wanting to build a media pc myself. There are you tube videos about building one but I would love to here what they say about it.
Maybe something along the lines of this?

Not a bad MicroATX Mid Tower, but I would prefer something flatter like a desktop not really a tower, but then again its just up to personal choice and your requirements.
All of the youtube videos are really outdated. I like the idea of having something that fits into the TV stand so my girlfriend freak out and say "OMG you built another computer!!!???!!!???"
You don't need a powerfull system at all, infact for my media center I run a Dual Core Pentium E6600, 4GB DDR 1333MHz, and just some random 500GB HDD.
Get yourself a budget, factor in a little more on the case, as HTPC cases are a little more expensive, usually, and pick up some parts that are on offer.
