Need any programmers? I have a lot of experience in Unity. I've only compiled the Unreal Editor, but I do know C++. If there's anyway I could help just let me know.
How hackable is the mouse? I see the LED is purple, I had a thought about buying my own LED and changing it out to add my own style to it. Building on that idea, I wonder if there is room inside for one of the really tiny Arduinos with a small bluetooth controller or something to go along with an RGB LED.
Also that game looks beyond amazing. Shut up and take my money.
I'd like to help take the game and that torso-face creature to Kickstarter, if you need another programmer. I've done a lot with dual win & lin builds if that's of use.
I would like to join your project i am a soon to be computer science grad and i would love to work on this project with you guys. I have C++, Java, and some python back ground. I have been learning Blender, UE4 engine, and Cryengine.
I like this rig build/production update kind of video. I'm excited for the game but I may be even more excited to see what mods people make for it. Zweihander: The Lounge Chronicles: Origin of Dankness: The Begining...Again 2! Part One
This could end up being the most gorgeous 2D side scrolling game ever and that is saying something when you see what Trine looked like. Best of luck Tek Syndicate with this project and let us hope this makes you a boat load of money so you can do all the other creative things you want to do.
PS: Not to sound stupid intentionally but is this music on the album going to be in the game in some way whether it be in the menu area and more?
One of the biggest differences between a Gaming PC and a Workstation is the graphics card. In all honesty, you're gonna get good performance from your card when you're looking around the viewport in the engine. However, if you're really going to be doing some serious editing might I suggest you look into cards that are specifically Workstation Graphics Cards. These will give you a lot more stability and horsepower that you actually need to create games and assets for the games. Even the W7000 FirePro is phenomenal for the price and SLI ready.
Spot on Ram Choice!
On a side note, I find that using peripherals labeled for gamers actually offer far better precision in game production than what any off the shelf periphs can offer. A regular old Razer Taipan can give me the DPI control right on the fly so that i can comfortably and smoothly navigate around the viewport without needing to adjust the speed of my mouse in Windows Settings, or just simply "Get used to it".
Having a Keyboard with 18 hotkeys seems like overkill, but trust me. If you are doing a ton of modeling and asset creation within different programs, you're going to have various tools that you use all the time. Using a gaming keyboard will cut your workflow down significantly. It might take some time to learn, but in the end the time spent setting up your hotkeys will be well worth it because you can get so much more done.
Wow, good album. And I notice only six or seven songs were used in your videos. Hehe, maybe more of it should be used in other videos. And I DO like how Logan currently mixes it up a bit with the songs so that people wouldn't grow tired of hearing the same thing all the time.
With respect to the game, I know it's not necessary to make it but it could be nice to have a game be created because of an album. Wished stuff like that were made more often, whether it's an Indie game or not. We need way more games being made off of the feelings and/or the personal visuals of albums that fans of it like. Hope it goes well ;)
Guys, please there is no need for a workstation card the only benefit would be the extra ram. Workstation gpu's are usefull for things like weather prediction with extreme stability and driver support. The game engine can work full capacity on a high end consumer card.
@CrossCarbon Sadly it has history of doing so but we shall see now we have the Vulcan API build in
PS: DAMN its not ambidextrous, commercially probably the best idea though
