Budget PC build

Okay guys, my brother is going off to college soon and he needed a computer. he is planning on buying a laptop, but he still wants something to game on, so im letting him take im current build, since i want to do another (will be my 2nd) build.

Heres what ive got so far.

I don’t have a Graphics card on the list simply because I don’t have the funding for one yet, but i will soon. i have just enough for what ive got picked out so far.

i kinda goofed on my first build, but i got everything worked out and its a pretty solid machine. i just wanted input on this build before i start ordering parts.

Let me know what you guys think... i know an APU is not necessarily the best choice, but since i wont be buying a Graphics Card when i order these parts, its kind of necessary.

what drugs are you on? im on pcp, right nows,  and i dont write shit like this!!! how the fuck is this a" budgit builsd"??????//??/ are yo just a troler?

Btw make sure you copy the url above the build list on pcpartpicker and not out of the browser url.

Yep, permalink in the top left corner of the page.

And ATiGraphix, relax lol.

You need to copy the Permalink, its here. http://imgur.com/AF5MWL4

OP why not wait until you have enough funds to buy the entire build list? Instead of getting the gpu later. Prices will only come down on everything bar probably the ram.

ATIGraphix - thought you were banned???..... lols at "what drugs are you on? im on pcp, right nows"

reminds me of voltan/cinnamonrolls

or some other guy I can't remember off the top of my head.

Woops, sorry guys.... didint realize that it was the wrong link. Forgive me.

heres the actual link. like i said, sorry.

Yeah, i know.... my bad... ive gotten about 8 hours of sleep in the past two days... forgive me.

That's probably a good idea... I was just curious if the initial build was a solid one for the price. I’ll take your advice on saving up for the GPU.... I really need to get into a better habit of thinking things out better...

Relatively weak, unfortunately.  It's hard to get a decent gaming computer for ~$300.  At this price point, a little bit of money goes a long way.

<$300..  buy a second hand rig - may be able to pick up something like a 1st gen i5/i7 with say a 6950/6970 / gtx560/580. May be old but it that list you put up will be good for only the very basic gaming unless maybe its paired with high speed ram and a good motherboard to oc the shit out of it.

You could even source a cheap ex business machine - i3/i5 etc at an auction then throw in a cheap gpu like a cheap 750ti. Wont have to change psu or anything, as long as there is a spare pcie x8/16 slot you're good to go.

+1.  My first rig was purchased used, and with a small upgrade was a decent gaming rig.
