Budget PC Build - Help!

Hi all!

I was wondering if this PC would be any good at running Euro Truck Simulator 2 at high or ultra setting @ 30-60FPS?

Baring in mind this is a budget build of £350 - so I can't go over.

Here's the parts;

Many thanks,

Here's what i came up with http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/dfLJgs You will have 20£ leftover if want for example put another 4 GB ram stick, but overall, this is a small powerhouse capable of medium/high/ultra in most of modern games (haven't played euro truck simulator but this can handle BF 4 with high with 30-60FPS easily)

Hope I helped :)

Hi Alex as the game is not that demanding i thought of a apu system that you can later upgrade much easier  (from the site that you provided ) :

CPU : AMD A10-7850K 3.7GHz Socket FM2+ Quad Core (you can overclock ,but i don't advice that with stock cooling )

Motherboard :ASRock FM2A88X Extreme4+

PSU:EVGA White 500W Power Supply 80 Plus(it has to be at least 80+)

RAM:Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3 2400MHz Dual Channel

Case :its really your choice

HDD:good your choice

That about 350 if my math did not escape me ,i hope you understand why i went this way . Lather you can buy a better cooling and a graphic card .

Cheers, guys! Thanks for help and info!

Here's another suggestion: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/MHXPQ7

This will blow any APU system out of the water. Since you're only playing a few games (by the sounds of it), the 128GB SSD will be fine for the time being and will make your system run blazing fast. You can always easily add a 1TB HDD later on if you decide to play more games. This setup will also allow you to upgrade to an i5 later on and that R9-270 will run pretty much any game at 1080p on medium/high and some on ultra. It'll handle Euro Trucker no prob. ;)

Personally i would go with the athlon and a GPU however do not get the mobo you listed it makes oc'ing almost impossible

Were you referring to the build I suggested? I didn't choose the parts for OCing. I chose them for price/performance and upgrade-ability. On the FM2+ socket, you're limited to the 760k (which performs more or less the same as the G3258 at stock clocks) where as on the 1150 socket, you can throw in an i5 or i7 later on.

I know the G3258 is meant to be OC'd but it's also priced well (same as it's non OCing brothers) and even if you can't get a bit of an OC on the H81 board, it's worth it IMO, because of the GPU. Some H81 boards are rumored to have OC capabilities, but I wasn't counting on that for this build. When it comes to low-budget builds, getting a strong GPU in the build is more important.

No i was talking to the OP you gave a solid build that i would recomend

Oh, ok. Disregard my reply then. lol.
