Budget mid end gaming PC

Ok so im finally going to have the money saved up this summer to afford a decent gaming build again so i don't have to deal with what is essentially a dell inspiron with a pin mod OC to get the 2.5 Ghz core 2 duo to 3 Ghz and a gtx 750 ti in it , i already have the hard drives  taken care of, so here is my list , just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions or input on it.

Case:

Corsair Carbide Spec 1, i honestly think this is unbeatbly the best case for the money http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139041&cm_re=Corsair_Carbide_Series_SPEC_1-_-11-139-041-_-Product

CPU:

im going to base it on an FX-6300 for multiple reason's , 1 its cheap so i can put more money into the gpu, and 2 i plan on maybe a stable 24/7 OC of 4.5 Ghz if i can keep it a reasonable voltage, and maybe push it a bit more, and if i do kill it...., well it wouldn't be a horrible amount of money to replace it.

Motherboard:

this is what im questionable about , im planning on going with a Gigabyte 970A D3p to stay in budget, but i hope its capable of at least a decent overclock, will the 4 phase vrm be enough ? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128627

GPU:

Im planning on going with an msi 4GB gtx 770, i know i really don't need the 4 gig version right now but i do plan on a 2 or 3 monitor setup in the future and the extra  VRAM would be nice for that

RAM:

im going to go with a 2x4 GB kit of the new HyperX Fury line of ram, probably in white, the 1866 version, and possibly throw another 6 gig kit in in the future

Cooling:

for the cpu i'm looking at the corsair hydro H75 with the dual fan push/pull configuration, ita about $70

for the case fans im going to stick with the sock case fans and eventually get the new gray colored noctua fans, or maybe a few purple LED corsair AF fans

PSU:

i already have a 500 watt psu but i know once i start to overclock thats going to be a little low, so i plan on getting a corsair or seasonic psu in the 600-700 watt range

Storage:

i have a 100 GB ocz vertex 2 drive thats still going strong at 100% according to crystal disk mark a few years later with near 3 TB's of total writes to it , so im going to keep that as my boot drive until it dies or i see a noticeable dip in performance , For my storage drive i have a 1 TB WD blue , and i plan on building a file server with 5-6 TB's in the next year or so, so i should be good on that.

Looks alright.

I would rather have 6 or more phases for overclocking.  I've picked the UD3P version of the board, which has an 8+2 Digi+ power phase design.  Also look into the FX-8320 which is basically a slower FX-8350.

H75 isn't that great of a cooler.  A Hyper 212 can match it relatively easily.

500 watts is plenty, IF YOUR POWER SUPPLY IS HIGH QUALITY.  An i7 and GTX 780 at stock speeds can run on a 450w power supply(just for reference).

As for the GPU, I would go with the R9 290.  It's only about $40 more, still has 4GB of VRAM, and is much, much more powerful.

I just watched an amazing video about building gaming PC's on a budget. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWXR7Em-Yf0 It has different builds depending on your price range and seems pretty legit. You should check it out, it might help you.
