Budget(ish) build

My significant other is taking my current desktop to replace his MSI gaming laptop (He wants more Powah!), so I am building a new rig. I want a powerful machine but im struggling with what I need (budget) vs what I want. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This system is a gaming system which will also be used as a home streaming server. I am a student, and I already have an OS (Win 8.1) and Office. I don't want to replace anything except for the GPU in the next 4 years.  I plan to overclock it as well.

Specs below:

Thermaltake 850w Gold PSU (Already Bought)

Asus Maximus VI hero Z87 (Already Bought)

Swiftech D5 pump (Already Bought)

3 x 240mm Rads (XSPC Already Bought) XSPC 240 RX + 2 240 EX RADS

XSPC Photon 270 Res (Already Bought)

8GB Kingston HyperX Beast 2400mhz ram (Already Bought)

4 x Corsair Sp120's (Already Bought)

Still need to buy a waterblock (was looking at the Raystorm)

Case - Narrowed it down to the HAF Stacker or the Entho Primo (Although, if someone has any other suggestions for a beast of a case for around the 200 USD mark that would be appreciated).

I have anticipated buy a Core I7 4790k

Im also thinking of doing hardline in this system (albeit nervous about the bending) and I have not bought any fittings as of yet.

I will be keeping most of my peripherals (Logitech G13, Logitech 5.1 Surround Speakers, Razer Naga Hex) but I have considered upgrading my Razer Blackwidow keyboard to a Corsair K95 and I am curious about switching my older Asus 27in Led monitor to a Shimmian or other 1440p or 1600p korean monitor.

I have not bought a graphics card yet, as i am waiting to see what comes up with the GTX 880 rumors. (If they turn out to be fake and I have to wait till next year, I will likely get a Asus GTX 780Ti) Thoughts?

Thank you for reading this and any help that anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Ps. Budget for the remaining parts is approx 1k +/- a little for watercooling parts.

Also, if anyone has any experience with hard-lining, I would love to have a chat with you.

ooohh here's a thought.... what if I grabbed 2 290x's off ebay vs a single GTX 780ti?

Two R9 290s would be quite beast in games that have decent Crossfire scaling.

are there many that utilize xfire scaling?

So, 290x's better than a single 780ti for general gaming... Battlefield... Crysis.... Wow (I know, overkill),,,, Wolfenstein... Tomb Raider...

Easily.  The 290 and 290X provide a lot of bang for the buck.

Thanks very much! I looked around on Ebay and I can get 2 290x's off there for a little less than 600. :)
