Budget Home Theater PC

Hey all, so I wanted to build a budget home theater pc for the family that can connect to our big tv, about 43 inches, which is 1080p and watch some movies/tv shows etc and keep it smooth. I have a little build going, is this any good? Any suggestions would be appreciated: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3ovaS

i have about the same thing, just better apu, a8-6000k?cant remember., however i've used that apu (a6-6400k) in a build, would be fine for it. no probs what-so-ever. i will say that an ssd isn't really necessary unless it's your personal preference. i just threw a 2tb WD blue in mine and called it good.

Kingston is currently using a cheaper, lower quality asynchronous flash in their V300.  I suppose that if you don't write to the flash that much that the V300 will be ok, but I would still recommend going with a Crucial M500, Kingston HyperX 3K, Adata SP900/SX900, Samsung 840 Evo, or other similar drive.

You can also got a lot smaller.

Case fans may be a little bit noisy, as per reviews.  Fans aren't that expensive, though, if you want to replace it.

If you JUST want media.. Why not get a Roku3?

Its less than 100 dollars. Has a remote. Plays videos, youtube, Netflix, can play media streamed from the network, or an External hard drive.

I have one, its great. No need to spend that much for watching movies.
