Budget gaming pc

Hello I'm looking for some help picking out the parts for a gaming pc. I would like to stay between $600 and $800 dollars. I came up with this http://pcpartpicker.com/user/whatgophers/saved/w3FwrH but as you can see it doesn't fit my budget. I don't necessarily need mini itx I just thought it would be cool. Also I was using that gpu as a placeholder for an rx 480 because I couldn't find those on pcpartpicker.com. It also doesn't have to be water cooled I just want it as quiet as possible. Any ideas will be appreciated!

good build. if you can afford it, you might want to wait a few weeks to get a 480 with a better cooler. something like
the cheese grater coming out

also the overkill on your psu is i assume to make room for changes down the road?

edit im an idiot sometimes. noticed non k cpu and 150 board, better go 212 evo rout and save cash for the better gpu, and get a mini atx or atx case so the 212 will fit http://pcpartpicker.com/product/hmtCmG/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr212e20pkr2

That RX 480 looks really stylish, are you sure it's an RX 480? That said, I had a huge pain in the ass installing the Hyper 212 EVO (still a good cooler, just saying), should have gotten a different cooler maybe, since I didn't plan on OCing much, the hardest part of building my computer.

Power Supply wattage is unnecessary, buy a lower wattage gold rated PSU of some kind

the AIO won't be worth it, and won't cool much better than a basic after market heat sink, the skylake chips don't use much power, so just get a low profile air cooler, noctua makes an ultra tiny one

buy a 240gb SSD minimum, probably an ECO3

and don't buy an OEM version of windows if you're going to buy windows as it only works once essentially

You can't fit a hyper 212 in the Elite 130, and you can't overclock that CPU, unless you meant your GPU

you can in the Core 500 however, it's just a bit bigger overall and a bit more expensive

Yeah, not really an option with that case, good to know for my next build since I plan on using a smaller case. May even replace my current CPU cooler, but not sure with what, my GPU may need some water cooling.

Sorry, I mean you can, if you're me, and you reverse mount the PSU

The Elite 130 can also support the weight of a 19" CRT, not sure on the Core 500

Yeah, I don't think I will be having any of that LOL. It's at least a nice way to go by, I wonder what a good CPU cooler would be to replace my Hyper 212 EVO, would like a cooler that's more intuitive to install, Hyper 212 EVO gave me some agony.

Honestly if you want a better deal, wait for a used 980ti on ebay.

Just buy the Core 500 and it'll fit because the PSU mounts in the front

I made some changes but I would like some budget cutting ideas. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/whatgophers/saved/xGGv6h
I want to play at least 1080p and 60fps on current first person shooters and survival games and thing's like rocket league. I'm willing to scrap my whole list there to make the best system for my price range. My only other requirements are quiet and a boot ssd

Looked up some CPU coolers, I guess that's how CPU coolers are meant to be designed in general, unless I go liquid cooling, which wouldn't be any easier to deal with. Well, I am a bit nervous about the idea of messing with my CPU cooler and reinstalling it. I like to not mess up my CPU and Motherboard, both alone costed $600, which is near half the total price of my system. I am using some crappy Thermaltake computer case though, next time I get a more proper case, like the one you are showing me, for my next build.

The PSU is unbeatable for that price. Keep it.

ATX case, bigger board for less money, hyper 212, more storage, less windows.

well not that gold rated PSU,

I'd probably just stick to recommending this one, as it's $70 for a 650W Gold rated Semi-modular PSU with solid reviews

far as cutting costs, you could easily get away with an i3 6100 for the CPU, and you really don't need the after market cooler

And I'd suggest one of the MSI VD boards, as they pretty much all are cheap and have solid power delivery in addition to USB 3.1

and you could always pick up windows in a back alley for 100% off

No to dual core in 2016.

Yeah I definitely want quad core. Wondering if amd might be the way to go. Looks cheaper

Yeah but .... no.

Any reason in particular?

All AMD CPUs are outdated or just not up to snuff with the Intel stuff. At least not for gaming.

It has 4 threads, it's fine, even keeps up with the i5 6400 at least due to it's high clock speed
