Hay guyes im in despret need of a a gaming hedset. I currently use garbage sony headphones (in ear $8.00) as my hedset and logitech webcam as mic...i kno it is sad to hear that =/
i have recently been fired and want to use the last bit of my spending money to cheer myself up in hopes of finding a new job. i have around 150 to blow and want the best for my money.
Sennheiser pc320, pc323d, Astro A40?? What do you reccomend i buy to turn my frown upside down...
I can recomment the steel seris sibera v2, however they are not very strong and break quite easily.
Remember to stay away from turtlebeach, im sitting here using a pair and ive had to make half a dozen mods/ upgrades and repairs to keep them working.
and from the selection you have there, I was absolutly go for the senhesier pc320. Astros are also prone to breaking and your always going to be better off with two drivers.
you really think the pc 320 is great..lots of people say so and im highly intrested in them...are they the best sennhiser hedset around that price range??
Sinc i know sennheiser is top noch and has the best quality you and demand, i will go with them...but which one may you ask. well idk. help me decide =)
From those choices I would take the PC 350, I seriously want them but can't afford them so I'm probably gonna buy the SteelSeries 7H. I have heard really good things about both the PC 350 and HD 558, choose whichever you like the best. But remember, PC 350 is a closed ear design and the 558 is open ear design.
If you want to get something with a really good value for your money, get the Audio Technica ATH-M50's. They're truly great headphones for tyhe price and im sure you can find a proper desktop microphone for 10 bucks, look at the logitech usb desktop mic, or the zalman zm-1 mic.
i personally have astro a40s i use with the mixamp for streaming since it puts all my audio, game and voice chat into one output, and i use them for gaming with my soundblaster reco0n 3d fatality, and they sound great, they are very light and comfy, and have awesome customer service if you happen to roll over a cable and ruin it like i did, i would recomened them with the mixamp but if you cant afford it the headset itself is still nice, make sure you get a 2013 with the qd cable plugging into the headset itself
saw like 10 reviews on this headset and they are amazing, beautiful, sexy and much more words that comment the sound quality
im not going to think twice ten more time and pick these up on amazon for $120 bucks...i would have gone with the hd 558..but with the extra ssavings i can take my girl out for dinner ^^
I think the BEST for the money head phones that are high quality are probably the Plantronics 780 or the 777 though the better choice is the 780. Both Headphones do support 7.1 Digital Surround sound and included software to make it 7.1 from 5.1 default and the base line price is 60 bucks.
You can compare the price from popular retailors be checking out this link below \/
Get the takstar 2050 headphones . Sure it's not a headset but it's leaps and bounds what the siberia can do. Has a 53mm driver and is comprable to the byerdynamic DT880.
With the rest of the money get a 7.1 soundcard with a built-in headphone amp and enjoy your new setup.
The siberia v2 are pretty good for their price but i have had some problem with the "Head resting spot" but what i wuld do is buy a ordinary pair of high quality headset without a mic that you can use while you go to school, work or just generaly listening to music and keep using your webcam as a mic. but if you are playing FPS games or other games where you need to hear the enemies footsteps then i'd probably go with a siberia v2.
Sorry for my bad English, im too tired to explain anything that makes sense...
