$500 build? Not bad.

450W is not enough. You need AT LEAST 500W for if you're making a Gaming PC. But if you're not aiming for that then it's fine.

No, that rig is only going to use about 375W. The 450W is ample.

Whats the budget? because you can do better for the same $$$

well it depends if he's gonna game on it or not. it takes up to 370W without gaming on it.

I would take the initiative and project for capacitor wear. Go a tad higher.

No phenom II in the local store here. so i had to go with the i3.

@Vieto - whats a capacitor wear?  im no expert in this stuff. something about the PSU maybe?

What will be the performance of this at 1280x720?
