Budget build ($500-$700)

Hey guys so I'm trying to build a budget gaming computer for my little brother and I need some suggestions. it would be great to get a build with some upgrade potential since I'm sure my parents would be willing to buy him a better graphics card later down the road.

Adhering to the rules:

  • Budget. How much are you willing to spend? 500-700
  • Where do you live (what country),  and what currency do you use? USA, US Dollars
  •   -Is there a retailer you prefer? Newegg
  • Do you need or already have peripherals? (this can add to costs) Operating System, keyboard, mouse, monitor
  • What will you be using your future computer for? Gaming? Rendering? Mix of both? Or is this a home media PC? Gaming
  • Do you overclock or want to get into overclocking? No
  • Do you plan on going for custom watercooling now, or in the future? No
  • OS. Do you need a new one? No
  • Do you plan on Mining BTC either for yourself or Tek Syndicate? No
  • What kind of settings do you like or what FPS do you want to play at? As high as possible
  • What resolution will you be playing at? //or would like to play at. Hopefully 720 or 1080
  • What kind of games do you like to play? LoL, random games
  • What specific game will you be playing (if applicable) League of Legends

Here is a pcpartpicker link of a rough outline of what I threw together: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1AMrf

Also, I know AMD cards have better price to performance than Nvidia, I just don't know anything about the lower end cards so if you could suggest one it would be great.

Also, I forgot to mention that my brother is turning 14 so he doesn't really have any need for a lot of storage.

Pick the case.

750 for 500gb, plus a nice 7970 HD and a decent quadcore, you dont need 6 cores for gaming, better get a better gpu.

Btw, I can see that he plays LOL, and looks like he will play it a lot.
You can run LOL with a integrated gpu on intel chips and a lot of other games.
If you want you can buy him a good pc without a gpu and add it later.

I think that the 550 psu is not enough.
