Buckling spring keyboard for okay gaming?

I was going to get a nice cherry mx blue kayboard, but then I got to looking on the internet and found out that unicomp still makes buckling spring keyboards like the old model m. Most programmers I've talked to, that used them, say buckling spring is/was the best keyboard to type code on. Being a coder myself this was something I always wanted to try but figured that since the model M are selling for like $200 or more on amazon I probably wouldn't get to any time soon. I'm sooo freaking tempted to just buy a unicomp and finally get a buckling spring keyboard, but I do game a lot and while coding is my passion I don't want to cripple myself for gaming.  Does anyone here use or has used a buckling spring for gaming? If so how is it?
