Hi,
I was wondering whether someone has run in to a similar problem.
I think I've managed to damage the front headphone jack on my Define R4. I'm using Beyer Dynamic DTX910 headphones and they have a somewhat thick, heavy cable.
After about 6 months of plugging them to the front jack I now need orient them so that the cable goes over the right side of my case or they don't play (they work fine with my laptop or at work). In addition to that now when I don't have them plugged in, the driver's auto-recognition sometimes fires up for no reason, just as if I have plugged something in and I have to cancel it.
I suspect I may have damaged the jack. Is there any way to fix/replace it?
Thanks for any advice.
Write Fractal. I am sure they will sell you a new front port assembly. You can fix it but you better be good at soldering.
