Broken DP video out (Vo) on PAAG-E3122B

KVM Model:

PAAG-E3122B (SQ8146548)

USB Interface (5-gigabit or 10-gigbit):

SQ8146548
USB Interface: 5 Gigabit

Problem:

I am unable to get the 2nd screen to work. They are connected to the Vo with DP. Any monitor I connect to the top DP will work instantly, and any monitor I connect to the bottom DP will not work at all. I have tried with multiple working monitors and cables, and I will only get a picture on whichever monitor I connect to the top DP port. My conclusion so far is that the bottom one is either broken, or I am missing something

Any chances of some help?

Just to add this KVM is more or less brand new as well

can you take a picture of how you have it cabled?

Hi Wendell, yes - here you go:

The white cable goes to my 2nd monitor which is the DP in question. I tried to use both my monitors in the top one (black cable spot), and both monitors works fine.

In the bottom DP, well I get the no signal found as shown in the image below.

Can also note I only have 1 machine connected to the KVM currently.

Just to clarify, you are connecting a second DisplayPort IN cable in the bottom row from PC 1 when trying to get the white bottom cable to work right? If not, that would be the issue.

Yes, that would be what I am trying to do

Ok just making sure haha. First thing I would try, let’s power cycle the KVM. Unplug all of the cables from the back of the KVM, leave it sitting there for a few minutes. Plug in only the displayport cable input on the bottom, and the displayport output to your second monitor on the bottom. Then, plug in the power. This will allow the KVM to fully reset and force everything to try handshaking again.

Alright, I will give that a try once I am back from work. Thanks for the quick replies, truly  .

Like Amber said, you are missing your second DisplayPort INPUT

You need another input from your desktop to the KVM before the second DisplayPort OUTPUT will function.

I don’t really know the science behind doing these things, but this solved it  - That is fantastic!

Well, it seems like there is no worries any more - so many thanks for the insight and help Amber.
