Bottlenecking

Hello.

It seems my GPU is almost dead. I have bought a GTX 770 and a CX600M PSU. My current PC is shit.

Its CPU is AMD Athlon x2 6000+. 

Its GPU is GeForce 8800

 

The question is, is there a point to putting my GPU and PSU in my current PC? How much will my current CPU bottleneck the GTX 770?

A cirka 2006 cpu will be massive bottleneck. But if you are sure you can get like LGA 1150 mb+cpu soon then why not. How's the old motherboard, does it have PCI-E 2.0 for the gpu?
