Bottlenecking processor

I was thinking about buying a gtx 690, but I wonder if my phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition will bottleneck it.

Althow I love the Phenom II Hex core CPU's they are now getting a little long in the tooth. The 690 is a very powerful card, however it's a little pricey. In most cases you would be better off with a pair of 680's. Even then the 680 is an expencive card for what it is. If you are going to be using the Cuda feature then yea you are going to need nVidia. If it's just for gaming then the 7970 is a more cost affective way to get high frame rates. Back to your original question, the 1100T will bottleneck the card... Given that the 690 costs around £800 or $1000 that's more than enough money to build a whole new PC with a more balanced performance.

Would you recommend i7-2700K 3,5GHz, with gtx 680 4gb?

If you've got the money, yes. If not, an i5 will do just fine

Or is the 3770k better than 2700k?

3770k is better but 2700k is still gold

The absolute minimum for a 690 is an i5 2500 or amd chip of equivalent performance though i dont recommend mixing amd cpus and nvidia gpus. If i were you and i was just building for gaming and maybe a little streaming/recording/minor editing i'd run with a 7970ghz (i wouldn't buy two of these with the 8000 series expected early 2013) and an fx-8350. If you have an amd stigma the i5-3570k is a sensual goddess of performance for around the same price point.

Okey, lets put it this way. What is the best motherboard, CPU and grafic card you could get for 15000 swedish kr or 2250 dollar.

PS The cpu and grafic card will be water cooled.

PPS Please choose a card that doesn't generate to much heat.

Hmmm, the GPU will be water cooled, but you want to buy a cool running card in the first place?

Asus Rampage IV Extreme, Intel Core i7 3930k, and a gtx 690.
