BOOTMGR... oh god

Hi guys,

I've been sitting on my first build for several weeks, trying to make the windows 7 install work, what with missing SATA drivers that aren't on MSI's website. Now I've tried booting off of a USB drive, though, and it seemed like it should work. But, no matter what method or utility I use, I seem to always get a "BOOTMGR is missing" error, or else an "NTLDR is missing". Anyone had this issue before, on a computer that has never had any of it's components run with another OS?

Thanks.

How many Hard drives are installed? try only having one installed, then run the installation. It could be trying to install the Bootmgn on HDD 1, but read it from hdd 0 on boot. its happened to me before.
