Booting into ubuntu gnome`

Just installed ubuntu gnome alongside windows on my pc, how can I now boot into it? as when i now restart it just hangs on the screen prompting you to go into the bios then goes to windows after a few mins?

Did you allow the ubuntu setup to install gnome into the bootdisk's master boot record? Is your system containing one disk or do you have a seperate one for windows and linux?

Normally the bootloader is installed with the OS. But sometimes the bios creates issues.

Use the live ubuntu usb or disk that you install it with and run this program :

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair

Use second option and follow the recommended repair.

Note if this fixes grub (bootleader) but it does not see windows but only Ubuntu just login to ubuntu open a terminal and run ¨sudo update-grub¨ and it will be fixed
