I will be building a new PC soon enough, now that I have a bit of money I want to grab an SSD for a windows 7 and 10 dual boot as well as productivity software and a handful of games. I already have a 1 TB 7200 RPM and a 1.5 TB 5400 RPM which I will use for storage and backups respectively.
Any recommendations for an SSD?
Samsung EVO 850. I have one and its super quick!
How big do you think I should get it?
Biggest you can get!
I'd recommend 250GB minimum personally
mushkin (they are usa freedom company)
240GB should be enough.

or this one if you feel like spending more.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226675
I recommend building hardware raid 0
Any will do you well for the most part.
The Pro is faster than the EVO but I think the EVO would be fine for most people. That's the one I'd choose anyway
Samsung 850 - whatever size you can afford. Dead simple migration software if you need, crazy fast and reliable as hell.
Other than that Crucial mx or bx range, Intel range > the 330's. & Thats about it.
The PRO has a 10 year warranty, the EVO has 5. The PRO is a little faster than the EVO and features V-NAND tech.
Difficult decision. In the UK the PRO is an extra £30.

Got an 850 PRO myself. Very fast and that warranty.
