Blue screen

So long story short my computer is being weird, i need help on if this is an actual windows problem, or if it's a virus i need to delete

here's a photo

Also my 2nd monitor is working just fine.

UPDATE: Task manager is disabled, also it won't let me right click on that blue window, or anything tbh

It seems like malware or a Virus Microsoft doesn’t usually give you a phone number to contact on there blue screens of death I would first try restarting your computer if the power button isn't accessible hard shut down the system then reboot then I would do a malware and virus scan in safe mode just to be sure. That is at least where I would start.

Yeah, i'm just worried it won't log on again if i restart...

What else do i have to lose though... I'll let you know how it goes after i reset it

failing safe mode, then you need another system to plug it into to clean it or a bootable flash drive or CD recovery medium that facilitates virus/malware removal or data backup if your windows install is scrambled, which you'll also want a clean computer to prepare on. If you've got a friend near by that does virus removal all the time he/she probably has an old crap box system that only gets used for that.

Okay, so i just tried to reset then, and i managed to hit cancel while it was closing other programs, and now the blue screen is gone, although my taskbar is missing, only on the 2nd monitor, the 1st is still perfectly fine

I'm running malwarebytes now, and ironicly when i was scanning is when it came up with the blue screen, i'll see what happens now

should be all you need.

Yeah, i have Malwarebytes Home Premium, it found 44 apparently, and i scanned it last night, so this is interesting..

EDIT: So it this...

Malwarebytes chameleon is different. You should try running that instead and see how much it picks up.

Alright, i'll try that, because i restarted it. and it came back after like, 10 seconds

let me know how it goes.

I'm not sure what one to run..

Okay, now i'm trying to run malware bytes itself since malwarebytes chameleon doesn't seem to be doing anything, And it's saying i "Don't have permissions" and i can't edit them either

you ran the wrong one

if you've done it correctly, you screen should go black a ms-dos promt says that malwarebytes chameleon is scanning.
click the third one in the list, and be sure to run it as administrator.

Okay, i scanned it, and it picked up nothing new... 0 threats... I'll try restarting my pc again and seeing if it happens

Alright, so i've successfully opened task manager, while the blue screen is on, and i'm trying to find where the process is coming from. There's a sus program called "Nigma" and when i open the file location it takes me to C:\Users\Angus\AppData\Roaming\master and there's only those 3 files in it, i have no idea what they are/do But i'll keep looking

EDIT: Am i good or what? (a bit of a joke because i suck at this stuff) I force closed that program through cmd and now i'm deleting it, as soon as i quit it, the blue screen went away, so i'm going to assume it's bad, but just incase i'll put it on a usb, and make sure i don't need it

Okay, I can finally end this. Thank you so much @shadowvengence22 and @anon75264233 for the help, I really would have been helpless if i didn't know if it was real or not. So thank you for the help as annoying as i'm sure it was!

haha nah you're fine. malware is always a pain in the ass. Glad you got it fixed. Be sure to continue to do future scans weekly and you should be good to go.
