So, I travel a lot and always get stuck in hotels/camps where the network blocks UDP traffic. Is there a way to get around this. I have a home sever that I could use if possible.
It also blocks FTP.
You could use a VPN which allows you to connect to it using TCP. Either use a VPN service or set up your own on your server. You want one which uses TCP port 443 which is the same as https, so it won't be blocked by anyone.
