It’s from blicube (who makes the similar but external BliKVM), and it should fit inside a typical PCIe x1 slot, though doesn’t use any PCIe communications. It gets power through the PoE jack, and has USB-C for flashing a Pi or OTG comms (I think), an internal USB 2 header (I think), and HDMI input (which is great for desktops, but not necessarily servers with VGA, since you’d have to go VGA to HDMI taking up an extra USB port for power and adding in a dongle).
I’m hoping to get one to test out soon, seems similar to the ASRock Rack PAUL card, though should be waaaay cheaper. Except if you include the price of a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 right now… which is kinda impossible to source
To me looks like some pins in the PCIe slot are traced. And I don’t really get why making an expansion card style KVM and not use any power source coming from the PC. Maybe even a SATA connector would’ve been good enough.
I hope the Pi Foundation gets some allocation from foundries soon.
AFAIK that VGA comes from AST2500, not the SoC, and with it present do you really need a second management interface? OTOH AST2600 does support DP, question is does it support Dual-Mode (DP++) as well? Because going DP++ to HDMI is kinda trivial.
