I just built my new gaming computer and when I start it up connected to a monitor through a VGA cable leading to the motherboard, the screen is just black. All the fans are spinning and everything seems to be working but the screen is totally blank. REALLY NEED SOME HELP HERE!
Do you have a graphics card? If so, you need to plug the monitor to that. Did you plug in your motherboard 4/8 pin connector? It is near the CPU heatsink usually upper left on your motherboard.
did you use motherboard standoffs, try reseating the RAM, check to make sure all cables are plugged in correctly
I've plugged a HDMI cable into my graphics card and it's still blank, i'll try reseating the RAM.
