It's some what true. The holiday season is a time when people are ready to spend money and buy gifts and stuff. Having a minor deal on a somewhat shitty product rationalizes the consumers decision to purchase the product.
Nevertheless, among the dirt you can find some good deals but it's not likely.
I'll be waiting til the last second like I usually do. Luckily for me I don't need to look for electronics or anything of that sort. I could probably even get away with getting Cabelas gift cards for everyone on my list.
