I am experiencing a very odd issue where when I unplug the DisplayPort cable of my monitor the GPU Passthrough Windows VM stops outputting video. The host is fine and I can still see the CPU is doing something from the CPU graph for the VM. The VM doesn’t seem to respond to shut down requests though.
This has me stumped. I narrowed it down and it only crashes when Dual mining etherium and decred, possibly other dual mining modes too. Etherium only mining with same Claymore Miner version works just fine. Identical settings and I even tried setting the Power limit to and extra -10 when Dual mining vs etherium only so if it’s power related it’s not the total power draw that is the issue. Temps are about 40C, it’s watercooled.
I would have though an issue like this should practically impossible, it’s just seems to weird. Anyone have any ideas why this might happen?
