Bitfenix Prodigy airflow and cable question

Bitfenix has released a side panel with a window. I was wondering if you put the window on (which takes away the ventaltion holes) would the airflow become worse? I just don't want the GPU to overheat. Also what if you were to replace the mesh panel to a solid panel? Would that be worse for cooling if you put a 200mm or 230mm fan in there?

Also do the bitfenix alchemy cables plug right into the psu?

I dont know about the prodigy but alchemy cables dont plug into the psu, they are cable extensions.

bump

Well as long as the GPU gets enough cool air, you're fine, but i cant judge on that since i dont know how your system looks like, its specs, cable/fan management etc.

I would make sure to put the front fans in, in fact would likely go with a nice 200mm or 230mm to ensure the card gets good airlfow.
