Bioshock Infinite Benchmarks

Disclaimer: I wasn't entirely sure wether to put this topic in the hardware or PC Gaming section. As you can see, I ended up choosing the PC Gaming section seeing as how this is a topic discussing benchmarks for a specific game only. If this is an error please let me know and I'll delete it. (Or Perhpas you can move it for me.)

First, a confession. I actually pirated Bioshock Infinite at first. I was never a huge Bioshock fan so I told myself I'll try it out for a while and delete it. I wasn't even expecting to finish it, I was just bored.

It didn't take long for me to get addicted to the game and I ended up playing every free moment I had to finish the story that had me guessing and to experience the game with it's unique combat and enviroment.

I beat the game, loved it so much that I deleted the pirated version from my PC and bought a copy via Pistol's link the latest TEK. This is an awesome game!

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I was extremely impressed by the visuals and even more impressed by how well the game is optimized for my hardware. I've seen benchmark charts rating my card at far lower frame rates than I have personally achieved. Below are my results...

My PC Specs are:

Intel i5 3450 @ 3.1 GHz

8GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 @ 1600 MHz

*OVERCLOCKED* Galaxy Geforce 660 Ti @ 1241 MHz Core Clock, 3456 MHz Memory Clock

What did you guys get?

What did you use to record your benchmarks?

I'm interested as well, running a 7870 but I haven't got the game yet. Performance should be similar. What resolution and quality settings did you use ?

What made you share a printscreen of your desktop showing a digital file ?

To answer the first question:

When you launch your game through Steam, you get two options...

Run the game or the Benchmark Utility. A CMD prompt asking at what settings you would like to run the benchmark appears, then it runs it and you get a file in your documents with the results.

I ran at 1920x1080 with everything at the absolute highest it could go. I even used the Alternate rendering method because it mentioned it was DX11 only, so I thought it would be more demanding.

Lastly, I showed a print screen of a digital file because I thought it would be a lot more practical to quickly glance at the numbers without having to scroll through a digital file. Plus, I wanted to show off my awesome Samurai Champloo background.
