BIOS Recovery and modification!

Mmmm BIOS mods they can be great fun and a mighty pain in the ass. What has y'all experience been with such a thing? I just softbricked the bios on my lan machine so I had to pull out the old SPI Programmer to fix it.

What sort of modifications have you done to your motherboards BIOS and what would you like to see done in the future?

`./flashrom -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev1.0,spispeed=512 -w IMB181L1.80 -V
flashrom v0.9.9-r1955 on Linux 4.1.25-ti-r62 (armv7l)
flashrom is free software, get the source code at https://flashrom.org

flashrom was built with libpci 3.2.1, GCC 4.9.2, little endian
Command line (5 args): ./flashrom -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev1.0,spispeed=512 -w IMB181L1.80 -V
