Any “recent” Bios version for Sony Vaio VPCEA3L1E…
Has anyone had any experience with this laptop model? Out of curiosity I wanted to check if there is a higher version of the BIOS for it than what it currently has, which is:
R2200Y8
6.0.31.1208
You can forget about resources from Sony. 
Have you checked if there are.coreboot alternative bios for that model?
I didn’t notice anything for this model.
Hello, I missed finding a newer BIOS version for that model as well. The R2200Y8 you mentioned is probably the latest ‘official’ one by Sony is out but yes their support can sometimes be a coin toss. If you are in need of performance or fix stability issues, I’d encourage anyone to check out forums or groups where people share various BIOS versions, beware when doing this though.
