the stock bios is f23 but can i flash a new one that supports the  celeron @900 for over clocking. i understand cooling will be an issue and am making plans to improve the cpu fan. i want to increase the ram that the gmsa 4500 chipset gets as well.

can anyone help and link me to this new bios please?

if its not supported on the HP site, I wouldnt be flashing it with whatever bios you do find. You're gonna have a bad day if it nerfs your system.

Overclocking a celeron wont gain much system performance wise, same with increasing ram frequencies. Laptop overclocking on low end machines (even if it is allowed in the bios) usually doesnt end well.

If you want to give the laptop new life throw in a ssd.

Peace.
