BF4 FPS help?

Hi, I was wanting to buy BF4 for the PC, but I wanted to know what FPS my PC should get on low-medium-high settings? I've looked around a lot but I can't find any solid answers. So, as a last resort, I come to the place where I know I'll at least get some answer. I'm still kind of new to the hardware part of the PC gaming realm but I'm not a complete noob, at least I don't think.

PC Specs:

CPU - AMD FX-6300 6-Core Processor Black Edition

GPU - Radeon HD 7850 2GB

RAM - Kingston HyperX Red 8GB

Any advice is appreciated

Not super sure but from what I've seen and been able to Google, with a 7850 you should be getting around 40-70 FPS with somewhere around 58-65 being most common.

This is at 1080p. You might see this change depending on your resolution. BF4 also seems to run better on Windows 8 as well.

If you are getting FPS drops, try turning off anything AA related. Should gain about 15-20 FPS.

Ah, I see. I have Windows 7, but I don't imagine it could be too big a difference. I'm also running at 720p, so I think I should be fine, since a game doesn't have to be maxed out graphics wise for me to enjoy it. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.

Not by much on windows 8.

I'll be sure to remember to do that, thanks!

Which os are you running? I know for me upgrading from windows 7 to windows 8.1 raised my frames by 10fps at least.

I would think that if you are playing in 720p you should easily be able to get 60 FPS

Bit of a side point, but I have noticed that when I run my i7 (950 @ 4.2Ghz) with full 4 core / 8-threads (HT-on) I get random spikes in FPS, when I turn HT-off and only run 4 core / 4 thread it is perfect.

Windows 7 x64 here.

Yeah, I thought so too, but I was just wanting to make sure since I am still not too familiar with all my hardware.

I'm running Windows 7, but I would rather not upgrade to Windows 8.1, at least not yet. From what I've heard I should be able to do just fine though with around 60 FPS.
