BF3 issue - Logan request

Hey Logan,

I've recently acquired an Origin account with BattleField 3. I've been
watching a lot of FrankieOnPCIn1080p (He's quite good at the games he
plays if you want to watch his videos), and he makes BF3 look
incredibly fun. After getting the game, and installing it, I tried
running it, and low and behold it crashes, no reasons are given, just
a straight crash to the desktop. I've contacted EA's help centre
(Canadian, don't judge my spelling), and after waiting for 2 hours,
finally got to someone who could "help". Another hour passes before we
finally give up, and I was told I'd be contacted back the following
day, that never happened. I've searched high and low, and google and
couldn't find anything to solve this problem. I've updated my drivers,
removed the HD audio drivers from nVidia as someone said, deleted
specific files not pertaining to anything crucial, and damn near
everything else, even scaling back my factory overclock to ref. core
clock settings, and still no dice.

I'm wondering if you've run into this problem before, and know how to
fix it, or if there's anything I can do. I'm at the point where I want
to call up EA once again, and demand my money back, considering my
system surpasses the recommended settings for the game, and nothing
else is working.

Any help is appreciated.

Logan asked me to post this here, so I am.

System specs:

GFX: nVidia GTX 660ti SuperClocked

PSU: Corsair GS700

Mobo: Asus Sabertooth x79

Monitors: Main - LG TV -- Left side - FLATRON L1950S (I've tried removing this monitor, it had no effect)

Complete system dxdiag: http://pastebin.com/2NRCdMN8

Other games I've played with this card:

Skyrim

Metro 2033 (Insanly hard, by the way)

CS:S

CS:GO

DayZ + ArmA 2

I've tried moving the game from my SSD to my HDD, but that had no effect, I've tried almost everything I can think of, but nothing is working. Any help would be appreciated.

I have had problems with both bad company 2 and BF3 (if I remember correctly) both tomes the game crashed, dont remember if I where given a reason.. but both time the solution was to update my bios.. so if you havent tried that, you should :)

Well, the obvious first thing is to make sure you are running the latest drivers. You can even try the Nvidia beta drivers. I'm not sure if you have tried the beta drivers, so try that...

Next, that game should not tax the GPU as much as Metro 2033 (unless you are not using DX 11 in metro)... Even if it was taxing the hell out of the GPU, that PSU has plenty of power and a nice, 12V single rail.  Download speedfan and check your temps on the GPU while playing the game. Is anything getting hot... Watch the vregs! Those things get insanely hot on the X79... check the massive heatsink on the motherboard above the vregs... are they hot? Is the fan running that came with the motherboard for the vregs?

I think it might be a ram, or possibly even vram issue. I've been playing in a server with reletively low people for the last 10-15 minutes with no problems, but I can't spend 3 minutes in a server with 64 people. Last time I ran a memok check was when I first got the ram, and there were no issues, so I don't know what to think.
