bf3 bullet physics

Can some one explain to me what the differences are between bf3 and other shooters as to how the bullets travel, I heard there differences but what are the differences.

In BF3 every bullet is calculated separately.

Bullets are affected by gravity.

Bullets have finite speed which is really noticeable when shooting far away targets.

Those effects are exaggerated (like bullets are slower and fall faster than in real life) to fit into the gameplay better.

Watch this, for example.

ive always been pissed about the bullet physics being exaggerated

Damage dropoff is linked with bullet speed. Two guns can have similar/same bullets and do different amounts of damage because of the speed on impact.

damn, god damn marine sniper over here

personally the bullet physics annoy me because coming from cs:go i'm used to being able to fire through walls
