I have two identical builds here, the only difference being the motherboard. I don't know if I would need all the bells and whistles the ROG motherboard has but I don't want to end up regretting my decision later. The other mobo selected is the Asus M5A99X. I should also add that I am around a 700 USD budget so the ROG mobo (Crosshair V Formula) build is kind of pushing it.
I would probably go with the Asus M5A99FX. It doesn't look like you will be overclocking no cpu cooler. Then I would take the extra money and put it into a good ssd for a boot drive
You could save a few bucks if you switch to an FX 8320 and an ASUS M5A99FX Evo instead of the Pro version. The 8320 can easily be overclocked to the frequency of an 8350 and the Evo the difference between the Evo and Pro Versions of that motherboard is that the Evo has 1 x16 and 1 x8 PCiE lanes while the Pro has 2 x16 lanes. I've made those changes in this build and added a Hyper 212 Evo so that you can do a little overclocking.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bQ7VQ7 Do this. All the features of ROG at a lower price, imo sabers are better anyway, more reliable. Also put a hybrid hdd since you dont have an ssd
