This would be a very sad day. Though it's very unlikely - Valve is happy with their golden toilets and beds filled with money.
dont see it happening, although it would be nice if ati does anything with the DMM technology they purchased... maybe if ati and valve does something with HL3? anyway... i would love some great DMM tech in fps games.

This could be a rumour only. Maybe they're making up shit or just heard the news for it, but didn't do a proper check if they will buy Valve in a serious manner and make up shit to shock the PC gamming communities even more after IW's "l33t" move on breaking up PC gamming.
Valve costs hundreds of times more than bethesda, though i like bethesda games more.
