Man I've got like 5 old 90s ThinkPads. Too bad I ripped the drives out 
Hope this doesn't catch on... because as someone who works at a facility where it is imperative for us to get in products for refurbishing, this could cause a major drop in potential hardware.

Yea sorta figured, this honestly sounds like it would be a net loss for best buy. Me thinks this is a gov't grant for a "green initiative" but who knows.

Can I just have a flashdrive with linux on it to prove it works?
Needs to bootup into an OS by itself afaik. Limit 1 laptop per person or household.
