Hello,
Is the Asus Z170i pro gaming a good mini Itx motherboard for my i7 6700k and 980 ti gaming PC

Better off with haswell and a Xeon 1231v3.
do you already have a 4K or G-sync display for the 980ti?
What's your total budget and country?
I already have a 1440 144hz monitor and I want to downsize my current i7 6700k gaming PC to something smaller as my full tower is unnecessary.
Going in probably the core 500 or node 202 but still unsure.
To explain my question
Well probably this one then

unless you have a 240mm radiator should go for an Elite 130, it's a bit smaller than the core 500
I was thinking of putting the noctua nh d15 in it and I prefer the look of the 500 rather than the 130.
So you would recommend the gigabyte board over the Asus one?
It happened to be the cheapest with decent reviews, depends on how much you want to overclock, you'd want the more costly one with better power delivery, probably not the maximus VIII or whatever, that's just pointless

Best Z170 mini itx board is probably the Asus maximus VIII Impact.
If thats too expensive, then the Asus Z170i pro gaming would also be a very good choice aswell.
