Quite simple here whats the best gaming SSD for 100? I have a HDD aswell.
If you can find a 64gb Samsung 830 around they're still a good choice. Try and stick to Samsung, Crucial and Intel for SSD's. I know Logan likes to recommend other brands but these really are the fastest/most reliable/best. Even for the price.
Depends on the system. I also use Samsung SSD's, I like them, I use 840 series 3 bit per cell SSD's on sATA-II and 840pro 2 bit per cell SSD's on sATA-III. The PCB's are really nice in Samsung SSD's, they are reinforced and have flex/impact zones where they are screwed in, the casing screws are nice and flush, finish is immaculate, and they have a nice thin and lightweight enclosure. The Samsung 840 120GB definitely costs less than 100 USD, and delivers high read speeds which makes games load faster. Just for loading games faster, there is no need to spend more on an SSD with higher write speed imo, even with sATA-III interfaces.

The 830 series is better than the 840 series. In order of quality/speed, it goes 840, 830, 840 Pro.
I realy like the stock Kingston Solid State Drive V300 there cheap and have performance not to be sniffed at
